Dredging of Sea water cooling canal for Reliance Petroleum Ltd. at Jamnagar

Scope of work :
Dredging of sea water intake channel of length 4.2 kms, bottom width 16 mts and top width 60 mts. The work to be done in inter tidal zone, the tidal range being 0 mts to 6 mts.

Quantity dredged :
0.40 Million cu mts.

Dredgers used :
Dharti - I and Dharti - III.

Special Features: 
At Land Fall Point dredging had to be done from +3 level to -1 level in inter-tidal zone taking advantage of high tides for the required water level for dredging.
