Dredging of drains Upputeru, Gunderu, Pedalanka and Gontheru in the Krishna-Godavari delta basin under Cyclone Emergency Reconstruction Project, a World Bank Aided Project.

7.00 Million cubic meters.

Special Feature:
This was a World Bank aided Project aimed at controlling of floods in Krishna-Godavari Delta Basin in Eastern India by dredging.This area was prone to high floods during cyclone on account of heavy siltation of drains and sea mouth. Dredging helped in desilting of the drains and removal of sand bars.
